I've was shopping for some nude pumps this weekend and every time I found a new pair I kept thinking, "this color would look so nice in a room!"

I gravitate toward the warmth of pink and peach nudes (my love of the similar color blush is pretty well documented!), but taupe and grey nudes are beautiful, too.

 I'm a pretty big fan of any nude tone as long as it doesn't look like a salmon bathroom from the 80s.

vintage plumes kitchen design board

Today I am excited to share a family kitchen design I worked on recently. I'm really proud of it. I just love the color palette, which was inspired by Robert Allen's "Vintage Plumes" in the Birch colorway. The glass pendants are really similar to some I included in my roundup of favorite pendant lamps. 

And we can't forget the accessories! I wanted a teeny punch of red, so I chose the pretty strawberry print from Atelier Eva Juliet and fun, patterned bowls.
